- South Africa
The currency in South Africa is the Rand (ZAR or R). You can obtain your forex internationally before you travel. If you are unable to find ZAR easily in your home country then US Dollars are a safe second option and readily exchangeable, as are Euros or Pounds. Credit Cards (particularly Visa and Mastercard) are widely accepted, so you don’t necessarily have to carry too much cash on you. There are also a number of Bureaux de Change through the major centres. It is advisable not to carry too much money on your person – most purchases can be made by using Master or Visa Cards. American Express and Diners Club are accepted in some places but not as widely.

"I wanted to place on record how grateful I was with the excellent service that your Driver guides and yourself provided my colleagues and I throughout the England cricket tour to SA.
The staff you employ were as I mentioned fantastic and helped to make the tour the success that it was.
I very much look forward to working with you on the next tour.
