The rugged but beautiful West Coast is a “road less travelled”, even for many South Africans. It is best visited during the early spring months of August and September when the magnificent wild flowers of the Cape floral kingdom (known as Fynbos) come into bloom and show off their colourful faces on sunny days. Even if its not flower season there are many good reasons to pay a visit to the west coast and its interior. Our West Coast Day Tour package from Cape Town will allow you to do just that!
We leave Cape Town at 09.00 and travel first to Tableview for the definitive view of Table Mountain and the City, from where we follow the coastline to the West Coast National Park. During our time in the park we visit the wild Atlantic shore line, the lagoon, a bird hide and the seaside lagoon village of Langebaan. We return in the afternoon via the quaint town of Darling where we visit an Olive and Wine farm for a tasting. A great day of variety with some beautiful varied scenery. We normally arrive back in Cape Town around 18.00.
