On this day trip to Hermanus we leave your Hotel at 9.00 and travel out to Gordon’s Bay, from where we hug the False Bay coastline as we travel all the way to our final destination. The coastal town of Hermanus is the favourite breeding place of the Southern Right Whale, who migrate here between June and November each year. En-route we make a stop at the Stoney Point Penguin Colony to see the African and Jackass Penguins at close quarters. Further stops are usually made at Kleinmond and the summit of the mountain behind Hermanus, time permitting.
Once in Hermanus there will be time to browse the curiosity shops and African market before we return to Cape Town via the inland route over Sir Lowry’s pass.
We normally get back into Cape Town around 18.00.
